Not sure if borderline sarcasm.
The post tells the paid plans have all the same trackers.
Or maybe my flagging was accounted for as not significant hopefully.
I am a heavy advocate of privacy and the main driving factor for these conversations in my friend/family circle. Trying to get people to a different platform since 2 years now (they did and came back), so now I wonder if I am just wasting time really for a apocalypse that was never going to happen.

Now its the same stupid spammy ad on all channels because we have only two players. It's just impressions count now.
You deserve better than this
> You may have valid problems with Apple's users
I don't have a problem with apple users. I use apple products too. I also understand the rush of spending. I just don't understand how users see apple as a Hero/God company (blind trust). For evidence see parent comment.
Product experience is, debatable, having used at least one product, I can "imagine" how they can improve it.
While at the same time, having duped by the audiophile industry as well, the product was also great (i got those shure headphones).
What I am saying is sure there is no denying of experience wise of both spending/product, there is definitely a gap in the cost and worth of the product.
But that's what you said the "audio gear industry" were doing
> I find it fascinating how the audio gear industry has thought the consumers on how much money you are supposed to spend to have audio /experience/
That's how you began your argument.
> Apple sells 1000$ phone with 4GB of RAM and how ridiculous is this compared to, say Samsung where you get 12GB RAM for the same price.
This is also the same line of reasoning for "audiophile products" vs (how ridiculous is this compared to) "average headphones".
How does apple becomes your hero when they are selling the same thing ?
> deeply troubling subculture where passionately debating about very expensive cables and gadgets without ever being able to pass a blind test on the claims is the norm, almost like cargo cult
That sounds like the apple cult.
> quickly pushing you on the money-spend-for-audio-performance scale where you are simply supposed to check you bank account
We are talking about $549 earphones from apple here.
It was(is) a (very) huge project which is still in development (my last interaction was more than 3 years ago) being built by a very big company in tech space, and various parts of it were outsourced to various vendors (including Indian software shops) and I was consultant to one such vendor. There were huge number of layers of management, while all the usual questions you mentioned would have the answer "yes".
So yeah the devs were in general scared about the code and management both. They wouldn't ask questions, just say "yes" to everything.
edit: checked out the whitepaper, its not even about the blockchain saving any energy itself. instead you save energy somewhere and record it on blockchain... for ... ?
What I found was that its not just procrastination. Many folks are just afraid to commit code, like literally scared and I could never get a real reason for that. At one point I added some code based on the direction what requirements were taking. But I could not convince him to commit it.
So we finally agreed to let it be there commented out, only a week later to find we need it now.
anyone having the save problem on your mac ? dont know what to even search for.
Haha good one.
> Reddit almost certainly does a better job protecting your privacy and security
Even better.
I never understand this line of thought. Existing players are abusing their position, SO we wont migrate to a new player because what if they also abuse the position ? (which is in fact advertising itself on privacy explicitly)
