I love lisp but... https://github.com/borkdude/nbb/blob/main/examples/puppeteer...
"Look how cool I'm, I downloaded this thing just to add parenthesis to my JS script!"
You can see this heavily in the Clojure community, at least in the hn/reddit/slack circles. It gets annoying seeing others think they have some kind of superpower because they use Clojure. I blame Rich Hickey videos since they are heavily in the style of a good salesman.
Can you share your approach to generating PDFs in Clojure?
Don't know, everyday I see more and more C# devs preferring Typescript for new projects.
Because it's the same over-abstracted over-engineered life-sucking ecosystem as the Java world.
For many, learning Clojure can make them better developers but most don't keep using it once they realized they can apply all the hindsights they learn from Clojure to a more productive ecosystem.
That's how all mainstream languages with a GC work, Java, C#, Ruby and Python, it's not particular to JS. And this why why languages like Clojure are nice to work with.
but it also isn't important
It's important if you really want to know why your examples work they way they do.
So by components you meant react components not css components?
This an interesting psychological point to discuss IMO, we get lured to things that feel "fast" but actually aren't.
Genuine question, why do you think emacs key bindings are better?
I know F# can tap into the C# ecosystem but you have the mental burden of translating every example and documentation from C# to F#. In Clojure land these is pretty bad, you have to spend a lot of time understanding these extreme over-engineered over-abstracted Java libs before you can begin to use them.
