“This is my hammer, it would do you well to remember it. If you don’t bury my boxes, you will not see my hammer again. If you bury my boxes, I guarantee you will see and feel my hammer. The decision is yours.”
It’s dead ass simple when 95% of the walls extend beyond the grid, there’s very little hardlid ceiling in most commercial spaces.
Professional drywallers have panel hoists that can lift drywall 12’ tall.
I have some electricians that work for me with rope access training and certifications, sometimes we bid a job using rope access instead of a hydraulic lift if it’s cheaper to do it that way. It all depends on the project and your competition.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors need to understand the most since their work goes all over the building and they’re on the project from start to finish.
Drywallers just come in and put up gypsum once walls have been framed and MEP has been roughed in, and then they leave.
Tapers and mudders command my respect, that’ a difficult trade to perfect. Holding up 4’ x 8’ sheets of gypsum and screwing it to studs might be hard work but it’s dead ass simple.
In other words, the customers are awful. I sell and run commercial and industrial electrical work, I’d rather go do something completely different as a career than deal with homeowners, flippers, and residential GCs. The work itself has zero challenge and requires almost no thinking, it’s not hard to pull and fish romex through finished walls.
Cooper makes the HALO RL series LED can retrofit modules that can be had for $30 with adjustable color temp and dimming capable, with a five-year warranty.
I suggest only buying enclosed rated fixture lamps because they put out less heat and will last longer in an open or enclosed fixture.
A recessed can or “upside down” ceiling fan globe with an open bottom is technically an enclosed fixture since heat rises.
I don’t know why people think they’re clever when they pose this rhetorical question, particularly when someone is stating their nationality. The demonym ‘American’ refers to a citizen of the United States of America.
I’m not as eager as you are to test the resolve of Putin re: nuclear weapons. Once the button is pressed, the game is over for everyone.

Allowing foreigners in would disrupt the glorious harmony of Japan, so robots it is.
When you apply for a connection to a utility, they make you tell them your potential usage so they can assess if they can even connect you.
I have more than one customer with a single motor that uses that much power.
The COP of a heat pump is not fixed at 6, it’s dependent on the delta T between the evaporator and condenser. As delta T grows, efficiency drops.
An air source heat pump will have a COP of 2 with a delta T of 70F/39C and a COP of ~4-5 with a 10F/5.5C delta T.
I’ve only ever seen a COP higher than 6 in a system that had a chilled water loop with chillers and cooling towers.
This is going to be less effective going forward due to insulation piercing connectors, which simply clamp around an insulated conductor and pierce the insulation to connect to the conductor underneath.
A suitably insane person could also just strip the insulation from a small segment of the conductor, one phase at a time, and hand wrap a splice conductor around the live one and tape it up.
Great news for the monkeys though! I would not want to witness a monkey making contact with two uninsulated conductors on different phases, yeesh.
Do you want Amazon charging you twice as much for a product as someone that has half as much disposable income because they’ve determined you can afford to pay more for the exact same physical item?
The (grounded) neutral conductor actually completes the circuit, a wye/star transformer has a grounded neutral and the primary and secondary neutral terminals are bonded. The return path is ground and all of the transformers are linked together via the grounded neutral.
Apparently this can be mitigated by wiring a capacitor into the grounded neutral path of a wye transformer.
I’m not an EE, just an electrical PM who knows enough to be dangerous :)
