I ran into issue, where I shutdown system with Proxmox before start of EDT, shipped it to co-worker and when he powered it on after daylight saving time was in effect, time was off by 1 hour for Proxmox and all LXC containers.

Fix was to re-symlink `/etc/localtime` to proper time zone.

Didn't want or cared to dig into this deeper, but interesting to see that there are more issues about this.

When I tried to sign up, I've run into issue where your password prompt[1] would require uppercase character, a number and a special symbol... While in my opinion my password satisfied that requirement, your app didn't accept it. If you don't consider period and underscore as a special symbol -- you should mention list of special symbols you accept.

In February 2020 I did almost same: used beautiful soup to parse njtransit's arrival time website to send a push notification to my phone about 10 minutes before bus arrives to my stop in the morning, so I had enough time to get there. Unfortunately, something happened that year, which forced me not to use bus any more.

Me too, but they (I have two) have own collars for tracking their location and their activity and sleep. We use Fi collars[1].

/opt by default is for M1 and later based Macs. intel based Macs still use /usr/local.

Most of my subscriptions are for video services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and HBO Max.. But some of the software subscriptions present there and my current monthly bill comes to little bit over $150/month. Well, at least it is what Bobby (iOS app - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bobby-track-subscriptions/id10...) says. The only problem I need not to forget to add/update subscriptions. There are apps which will track these things for me, but will require to share access to credit card/bank accounts, which I don't feel like providing.

Bought M1 Mac mini when it came out. The moment Mac Studio was announced ordered it, because living with 16gb of memory is... troublesome. Been happy ever since.

Bought my daugher M1 MacBook Air. She constantly uses it unplugged and sometimes it feels it never discharges. After getting MacBook Air, she completely stopped using her iPad. Every time I want to take it to upgrade to latest os -- it is discharged and she always says last time used a week ago.

So, we're happy with M1 Macs. Going to wait for M3 before upgrading any of the systems.

Thanks OP. If not this post, I wouldn't go there just to see it myself. While there (it wasn't easy to find where these settings are), unsubscribed from most of the email and push notifications. Hopefully, I will remember occasionally launch the app to see _some_ useful posts...
