Hmm. Do you mean to imply an external Dorian Gray effect may happen: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Picture_of_Dorian_Gray? Wonder if there would be any other biological intra-cellular or inter-cellular Dorian Gray effects that may happen? Or, if this may really be a new free lunch.

Is there a link not behind a paywall?

Understood. Fixed headline.

What is your favorite thing that was built to last? This is, perhaps, a cheesy country song that speaks to the idea https://youtu.be/E4i2fC1U38s . Is "built to last" an obsolete notion?

Is there any way to fix my old 3G phone to continue to work under 5G?

I use a Kinesis Freestyle Pro and love it. https://kinesis-ergo.com/shop/freestyle-pro/. The split keyboad allows me to keep my sholders back which enables many more hours of keyboard use.

Nobody could make up words like Frankie Smith (may he RIP 2019) in the middle of Double Dutch Bus https://youtu.be/fK9hK82r-AM

Maybe the HN community could set up an award?

I taught H.S. for a year and setup banks of USB universal phone chargers at the back of the classroom. Students could charge their phone if they put on silent but could not get out of their seats without permission. It actually did help foster involvement in our lessons.

Whatever happened to Mr. Bunny https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/2433344.Mr_Bunny_s_Gu... to which, after all, .Net owes a lot?

When it comes to ballroom dance it gets down to how many want to follow and where you want to lead them: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EqQ93LLOR_A . And the rest isn't turtles all the way down, rather it's leadership in dance exemplifying leadership in other stuff.

What creeps me out even more is the ads and "automatic bing searches" that are cropping up in the Windows start menu and weather (location) tracker with ads in the taskbar. All this enabled by default after a Windows update and active while the user is not explicitly browsing something on the Internet. What metrics Microsoft is collecting?

Thank you for version not behind pay wall. I was worried I'd have to pay in BTC.

What is RDF?

What is the last car year without built-in radio transcievers? Did some manufacturers hold out longer than others? Will these cars eventually go up in value?
