Is anyone surprised a startup ignored the ruling of a regulatory body and did what they wanted anyways?
Move fast and break [laws]. It's the SV way.
(A herd of 2nd tier VC's are now breaking FCC laws throwing money at orbital velocities vaguely in the direction of some random Starbucks in SOMA...)
Claiming random regulatory body has a "ruling" just because some guys typed something into a document isn't responsible.
