I was just thinking about some of the barriers crypto implementations, for example, face when thinking of doing a JavaScript implementation. A library like this, especially for pedagogical code, eliminates a very important barrier, so, bravo!

The idea is a good one for another reason, because you can use this API to define a data-structure which can be 'rendered' in different ways - which could be useful for porting data-structures between node, DOM and WASM.
