>selfishly clutching their pearls over inconsequential annoyances
I don't even know what to say here. Referring to sexual assaults as inconsequential annoyances is so ignorant and vile I can't even comprehend how people can have such sickeningly twisted points of view
>Japanese tend to have an intuitive understanding that sending an easily tolerated creep to jail will cause damage to everyone in his life including his employer and his family
No one should have to "tolerate" sexual abuse, and good, if you think that behavior is acceptable your life should be damaged and your family should be aware of it
>They lack the impulsive blind urge for life-destroying revenge
Telling the police that someone sexually assaulted you is not seeking revenge, it's the right thing to do. Also, the person that committed the assault is the one destroying their life, no one else.
>Their culture is different but you seem hesitant to respect or recognize that.
Culture doesn't justify sexual assault
edit: 3 people have downvoted this since it was posted. I never would have thought that not supporting sexual predators would be controversial. Would anyone that downvoted like to chime in and explain why it's ok to molest people in public?
