Absolutely. I'd happily use password-only services. Because I'm willing to take responsibility of losing my own password. I hate it when someone forces me to use 3rd party services, usually not very secure, when it's not really required by logic.

I'm happy to jump through 2FA hoops for my banking app. I'm not so enthusiastic to do the same for every news or social media site.

i mean it’s not much different it’s just email code/link vs an all generating a code but 2fa is unphishable as well
