There’s an episode of Good Eats where Alton Brown chucks a cordless drill onto a pepper grinder to pretty good effect.

I’ve done this with my coffee mill. The grind shaft is a hex and the chuck connects perfectly. I like to do it manually normally, but the kids get a kick out of turbo grind mode.

I saw that episode and imitated with my Milwaukee cordless drill. It's very very good.
