The primary reason I never looked seriously at Caddy is because it had an installation via a bash one liner, and refused to post a repo or a way to download specific versions. This makes maintaining many identical servers via ansible a real challenge.

To be fair, that was several years ago. But can you explain the logic behind that decision?
