I email myself URLs of web pages I want to read later. I have a program that periodically checks my email and takes action on emails that I send to a specific alias. Actions include extracting the article/content of the page and converting it to an mp3 for me to listen to while I exercise or drive. If it’s a YouTube URL, it uses yt-dlp to download the video for later viewing. Etc.

Oh cool so essentially a way to personalize how you consume content? Is there anything your current setup is lacking?

I would say it’s a handy sink or inbox where I can route URL-based content for immediate processing and delayed consumption.

No current shortcomings. I am always thinking of ways to add features, but it works very well as is.
