This is why that region is dominated by self-reinforcing extremism broken up with authoritarians. The ‘all Palestinians are monsters, wait, all Israelis are monsters, wait,…’ cycle pretty much only historically breaks with entire nations disappearing or being denied statehood, on one hand, or with an authoritarian keeping a lid on sectarian hatred, on the other hand. (Credit where it’s due: calling for trials trumps calls for extermination.)

Massie's primary in Kentucky today will be quite the test.
