There's a lot of that sure, but for people (kids) that don't know other ways to communicate, irl or online, this might be their way of communicating, so it's either appease the algorithm or have no one listen to you.

Imagine what a shitty place to be being a teen, writing or speaking out, and having 5 views and 0 likes.
