Do you think that a tireless, infinitely smart, infinitely evil human would be able to take over the world? I don't. Intelligence is not the limiting reagent in our reality.

I think so, individual dictators have gotten pretty far and they weren't infinitely smart. I think infinitely smart would be enough to extend that to the whole world.

Donald Trump is not very bright and he has remade American politics and bent the international order to his will. Many people consider Elon Musk highly intelligent and yet his attempts to reshape government spending to his liking were an abject failure.

I submit to you that intelligence (at least the analytical, good-at-math form of intelligence) is not a major component of global influence.
