If it's of any solace, the feeling is almost assuredly mutual: your hypothetical candidate materials at Oxide would likely reveal that you are more interested in picking fights than solving problems. So you would likely not be welcomed at Oxide simply because you wouldn't make the cut -- quite aside from whatever social grievances you may foster.

Wow, that’s a pretty rude thing to say to a person who was commenting about a stranger being publicly shamed by one of your employees. He didn’t pick a fight - your employee did.

Regardless of where you stand on the term “you guys”, your inability to even listen without lashing out is a bad look.

hi Bryan(1). no fight was picked. your employee corrected a stranger or I would say threw the first punch. we can disagree on that if you want. that said, I could work with them, being kind and professional. I am sad it isn't mutual. could you work or sell to with someone who you disagree with as your values state?

given the opportunity I would still buy and do support 0xide and have since day one.

It's your employees that are needlessly picking fights in this thread, perhaps you should reflect on that.

An employee and a CTO posting in this manner is an awful look. How derranged is Oxide's internal Slack? You should be ashamed.

It's actually quite nice: people treat each other with respect, which includes listening to other people when they talk to you about the unintended impact your words are having on others.

Unless the unintended impact impacts the politically approved out group (right of Stalin, White, male, etc.), then "respect" and "listening" are now tools of White supremacy or whatever.

I'm not as bigoted as you, I am able to work with people with different dialects. I don't delusionally perceive every "slight" as something I've been victimized over.
