Yeah, but you're not required to transfer cash in order to transfer wealth, are you? Stocks are plenty transferable. Sure, the value would likely drop, but what's 20% to 40%, when you have a trillion to start.
And what are you going to do? Pay your rent and groceries with Tesla stock?
I mean -- there's plenty of ways to figure this out. You can take a loan versus the value of the stock, for example, which is what many billionaire's do. The advantage to that, is you don't have to pay any tax at all on the value of the loan.
