Why? Everything except his political views (to some people) is awesome. Bringing launch costs down by a factor of 100 is awesome, bringing electric cars forward several decades in adoption is awesome,paypal was awesome for the time, even the boring company and neuralink are starting to show promise. Have to give him credit for taking business ideas thatlooked really stupid at the time and making them work well to our great benefit. To me he has earned benefit of the doubt the size of the ocean whenever he is doing somethibg thatlooks stupid
