When you have to understand something yourself, do you rather read C, JS or C#?

In the end of the day I have to be able to read it, in anger, when things go south...

Some libs have amazing APIs (many in C# and Kotlin are well done); some libs have horrible APIs (many libs in PHP and JS look horrible to me).
