Didn’t like their comment either but what in the world kind of racist response is this. Where did this come from?

I didn't expect racism on HN, but here we are.

Race and culture are distinct. Slavic is not considered a race, but an ethnolinguistic and cultural classification.

Having said that, this is pretty lazy stereotyping (Slavic -> binary thinking).

Some societies may encourage more categorical, absolutist, or hierarchical ways of thinking, depending on their educational systems, political traditions, and social norms.

But such an analysis would probably have to be done at a country level.

I'm pretty sure about existence of cultural racism
