It reminded me of when I read a post from someone on some game subreddit, saying they had invested something like sixty hours into it and asking how much longer to get good and start enjoying the game.
It’s a video game. Its primary purpose is to entertain. There are dozens of them released each day. If you don’t enjoy something, move on.
Some things take time to learn to enjoy. I've bounced off things in the past several times before I started to really enjoy them later on. I'd like to think my experience with media is not just a random walk through whatever is in front of me and that I can direct that experience, at least a bit.
I also don’t think not appreciating something is a flaw which “needs fixing”.
But all good, you do you, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the experience. Have a nice weekend, and remember to look away from the screen periodically! I’m going to follow that advice myself right now.
