Fun fact: my SO works in a bank.

Even just an issue tracker like Jira would be an insane boost of productivity.

They live in a loop of emails and chats and meetings in a never ending sync to find out what's blocked, why, etc.

There are already an insane amount of "common sense" improvements to most office jobs that are missing, let alone automation.

Would it though? The problem with many issue trackers is that unlike many other tools, they do not encapsulate the right way of doing things, and so it's easy to add paperwork without making the work more straightforward.

And if there is someone who can set up Jira and teach people to use it well, they don't necessarily need Jira.

After a few years in similar offices, I realized that operations were barely using 20% of available tech.
