Yep. A friend own and regularly flies a Mig 29 in California. It’s faster than anything the US military has (not that he’s taken it that fast yet)

A MiG-29 has a lower top speed than an F-15 which the US military still operates.

MiG-29's top speed is 2450kph.. the F-14 is faster (2485kph) as is the F-15 (2655kph) you mentioned.

But then we get into the performance group.. SR-71 Blackbirds (3530kph), X-43A Scramjets (10870kph). Strange inaccurate brag.
