Same for the party of controlled opposition that allowed him to win. Twice.

I dunno man, I think outside influence helped massively.

To the point that I wonder if Pence actually saved us all when not doing what he was supposed to - but the people Trump put in place meant he didn't get blocked for running again.

But even the second time around, the bar was so low, yet Dems decided to skip the primary process, force an unpopular candidate, and act surprised when they lost.

At least the elections look close to uphold the illusion of a democracy.
