RTX Spark is $1,000 cheaper because it doesn't have the NIC and it also comes in a laptop if that's what you prefer.

Two different form factors. If you want/need a laptop, a mini PC/DGX Spark won't work as an alternative.

I have a DGX Spark, a USB-C monitor, a Logitech wireless Touch keyboard/trackpad, and a very fat USB-C battery, in the same backpack alongside a cheap MacBook Air. This portable AI/ML rig is getting a lot of work done in various local environments.

It’s not that heavy a tote - well, it’s heavy. But it’s an acceptable tote given the immense amount of local work that can be done with it, pretty much anywhere in the globe.

(Haven’t got the solar panel thing worked out yet, but yacht is my preferred data center anyway, if you know what I mean..)
