Not to make this political, but if the democrats gain control they better at least actually try to prosecute these criminals and not just make it yet another circle jerk asking for donations and never actually accomplishing anything. At some point the ruling class is going to mess around and everyone’s head ends up on a pile regardless. This is the time to demonstrate your head doesn’t deserve on the pile too. Time is running out. Just saying. Things happen fast when they finally cross that threshold that always comes as a surprise.

I fear that the Democrats will once again fixate on reconciliation and "reaching across the aisle" and "moving forward."

No need to fear it, you can be assured that some version of that will be what happens in this fake theater of the ruling class where their "left" puppet squabbles and fights the "right" puppet in their puppet show. I am sure the Democrats will "investigate" and hold "hearings" that look like doing things and they may even discover how terrible, horrible, no good, very bad the other side is ... so you should donate.

The problem is and long has been that they are all implicated and criminal and traitors to different degrees and using different ways and means; the cat burglar accusing the smash-and-grab burglar of being a criminal beyond the pale.

Until people realized that all the fake "left" and "right", and the "Democrat" and "Republican" is just the two levers of the same ratchet, nothing will change. Unfortunately for us all, the trend and characteristics projected forward seem to indicate that nothing will change until everything breaks and the enemies of the Constitution and its rights everyone takes for granted all around the globe are finally overcome again after 250+ years of suffering with peasants having rights.

Not that they shouldn't, but you can be 100% sure Trump will hand out pardons left and right when his time comes up. He'll do a self pardon, too. Maybe he'll step down last minute, and have Vance hand out pardons, just in case.

The only things his cronies can be prosecuted for after that, would be state crimes.

You could also get civil judgements against them, which can't be pardoned. These are commonly used in clawing back ill begotten financial gains

What is prosecution even going to accomplish given the right wing owns every court in this country?

That's not really how the system works, in most cases it would be a jury trial... admittedly, with all its major structural flaws in its current form.

However, even if the system is as very rotten as it is, just alone demonstrating and shining a light on it can not only overcome the blatant, rotten corruption of the fake justice system, but it could also force the system to further damage and pollute its legitimacy and...more importantly...get people to see the corruption. That alone could cause exponentially more damage to the fake legitimacy of the system, if people are actually paying attention and not doing whatever meaningless things most people do like watch the telescreen for their daily programming or obsessing about men playing with balls in various forms.

Yes, the MO of the Trump administration is to blame the other side of what they're actually doing.

Loudly making unfounded or exaggerated claims of corruption is a pretty effective tool for muddying the waters and making it less clear where the smoke is coming from.

Lock up criminals, don't lock up innocents.

On one hand, we have an email server where most of the classified information on it was classified for her own protection - like her location.

Meanwhile Trump and plenty of others have also practiced extremely poor email hygiene using non-official emails for all sorts of stuff. You don't hear about that from the Left because, well, there's all sorts of far more concerning shit happening.

Then, on the other hand, there's staggeringly large and previously unprecedented levels of corruption with this administration. We've never seen anything remotely like it, unless your argument is just that the Democrats are just vastly more competent at hiding it, despite constantly having all sorts of shit leak and just generally being totally incompetent at managing the party itself.

But if you don't understand the difference between the Hillary email situation and the staggering amount of blatantly illegal and massively corrupt things coming out of the Trump administration basically every single day, I don't know that there's any level of proof or any argument that could be made to change your mind.
