I see some locales where this could work. But here in Shanghai you are basically tethered to a phone + big tech. You could easily go about your WEEK and never talk to a real person. It’s actually really dystopian. Coming from self hosting etc. it is a completely different perspective. Exposing any content online requires a license, your modem and IP are connected to your ID etcetc. There is no privacy. Very sobering experience.
