If you searched, whats my ip, you used to get your ip. Now you get an ai answer telling you to use one of the websites. How is that helpful?

The AI just hallucinates¹ an IP. (I.e., that is most definitely not my IP address.)
(¹it could possibly be invoking a tool here, I suppose. Either way, the answer is slop.)
