We could've been better off by not inventing cars and creating wonderful concepts like jaywalking, highways literally tearing neighbourhoods apart, stupefying rush hour commutes, lead in gasoline... but who wants to get rid of their cars now, without any presuppositions about their current city's public infrastructure?
