I think what we're seeing is that a lot of people wonder, if making the lives of wealthy people with a lot of leisure time more convenient is worth the societal tradeoff (even if they're in this category themselves)
I don't understand what you mean; which wealthy people are you talking about and what does their convenience have to do with the general utility of AI tools? The person I responded to seemed to think that AI tools were only useful for developing software, which struck me as a limited perspective.
