If I want mainstream, my two other choices are Google and Samsung, and they are both even worse than Apple when it comes to "strangers poking around in your brain".
Should I give up on mainstream smartphones? Should I give up on smartphones entirely?
Or yeah, just don't use a smartphone. I still don't.
Technically it runs Android but there's no touchscreen, you can't install apps, etc. There's a web browser but most websites don't work on it. I wrote a custom map website that will work with it: https://lab.brainonfire.net/classicmap/
