Because their "hardware" is not a singular thing, but a complex package. How do people vote on any political party?

It's this company or a phone that runs highly privileged software by the world's greatest collector of information that should be private. Both choices are so awful my phone would not help me autocomplete any of the words I'd use to describe them.
