This is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a while. You know what nobody ever asked for? Answer: Ruby running on Python. The only advantage I see here is being able to access some of the Python scientific and mathematical libraries but at that point just freaking use Python. Perhaps this time would have been better spent improving MRI or even JRuby or porting the desired Python libs to Ruby.
