Who actually pays for legacy media anymore?
>The color of your house is likely caused by the paint or material used on the exterior. Blue paint or blue-colored siding, shingles, or other building materials would cause your house to appear blue.
Why make up blatant lies like this when mainstream media has been very critical of Israel for the past few weeks? The only exception is Fox News.

What is the purpose of including the RISC-V Compressed 16-bit extension set in what is supposed to be a HPC chip? Most embedded/IoT RISC-V implementations include that for obvious reasons but why here?
It is estimated that 25,000-75,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed just in Mariupol and surrounding areas.
What a blatant lie. The Siege of Mariupol alone is estimated to have killed somewhere between 25000 and 75000 civilians. The UN's fraudulent claim that "only 10,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed" is a blatant lie to keep China and Russia happy.
Any discussion about collateral damage should take population density into consideration. The population density of Ukraine is 63 per square kilometer. The population density of Gaza is 5500 per square kilometer.
Every container becoming $50-$100 more expensive is extremely disruptive for any economy. Will Israel attempt to blockade ships going to Yemen in retaliation?
The ECHELON report revelations were packaged into a formal (boring) European Parliament report. Meanwhile Edward Snowden had the counter-cultural packaging of a cool dissident hacker.
There is indeed already open source models rivaling ChatGPT-3.5 but GPT-4 is an order of magnitude better.
The sentiment that GPT-4 is going to be surpassed by open source models soon is something I only notice on HN. Makes me suspect people here haven't really tried the actual GPT-4 but instead the various scammy services like Bing that claim they are using GPT-4 under the hood when they are clearly not.
Seems like fear mongering, hysteria, and scammy "AI detection tools" are causing more problems and trouble than actual AI.
Behind that are attacks on Linux web servers where exploits in the web application (e.g. WordPress) or the web framework (e.g. Rails) are the attack vector.

Since 2008 big US tech companies have been a runaway GDP doubling success. It is laughable to compare them with VK and WeChat.
The reason we Europeans should aim to have our own big tech companies is because we are currently missing out on the greatest wealth generation in history.
Norway, Sweden, and Denmark are combined the 3rd biggest market for Tesla. During some months we even edge out China temporarily becoming Tesla's 2nd biggest market.
The way our unions are being portrayed by Americans is ridiculous. Even pro-union Americans are making our unions sound far more aggressive and subversive than they actually are. A "blockade" just means no unionized workers and truck drivers want to offload and transport your products and supplies. It doesn't mean a literal blockade.
Why did Elon pick this fight? Most American companies know how to operate here without getting into fights with unions.
Currently, the US only imposes a tariff of 2.5% on European passenger cars and car parts, while the EU taxes American cars with 10%.
For example Lockheed Martin is not allowed to comply with Qatari and Turkish demands to boycott and sanction Israel.
Private US citizens and companies who are not government contractors can boycott Israel as much as they want.
You are probably confusing the law with some weird Texas law that also forbids government workers from boycotting Israel.
The EU has similar laws forbidding EU companies with complying with US/Israeli sanctions against Iran.
