"Fine. Please no. I'm out..." in that order
That could explain why a firmware update can prevent bricks, but not restore devices already damaged.
I think a PR "in flight" shouldn't have been closed like that.
All this will do is push out developers like you that honestly disclose, and instead people will now just lie.
Is the intent that applications developed with this are compiled for target hardware on a machine-specific basis?
e.g. I define a machine file for my i5 and GTX3080, and another machine file for my gnarly datacenter rack, and the compiler compiles specifically for each?
That way the same source file is "provable" for different hardware configurations without relying on a runtime to be identicallu implemented?
Before AI, such designs were neutral to positive. AI versions can create extreme negative polarization.
Why take the risk?
> Sorry about this - we're sad too, RSS feeds have had a great long life on the open web.

Correction: RSS HAS a great life on the open web, RSS IS a beloved open web tool.
The question of choice between a profitable vs unprofitable venture is easy. But yeah, to what extent is choosing profitable instead of VERY profitable a breach of duty to shareholders?
I'm glad I didn't have to spam the back button to do it.
Oh yeah, and Recall. That worked out well.
With buds, people just shout into the void... Or the bus...
It was all awful.
That said, without experience it's easy to pierce the veil of "simple circuitry" by accident, just like in XKCD: Tasks[1].
Looking at preview of the author's next project at the end of the article, I'm not so sure the same strategy will work. The board is probably two orders of magnitude more complex. Without knowing the circuit details, I see many red flags (randomly placed ics and decoupling, likely wrong length matching, random thick traces indicating lack of foresight on power distribution, backwards connectors, the probably unnecessary use of BGA footprints, etc).
I built a project board nearly identical to this one a few years ago, and this seems about right. I don't think the displays themselves are included in the 130 euros. They can vary a lot in price depending on spec and supplier.
I think that was the last episode I listened to...
"What a great way to train an AI to imitate your voice, likeness and style all at once."
How hard will I hit the ground if it drops me?
I use open models for non work stuff and sometimes I cancel the output because the CoT is all I needed to read.
I remember an AI conversation with Opus 4.6 in which I almost forgot I was talking to AI. I felt happy, warm and comfortable and then I kinda snapped out of it and felt really gross all of a sudden.
Since then, that feeling has stuck with me. I now use it much more like a tool and I keep my guard up.
If I had to guess, models have producing content that is, for most of the population, indistinguishable from reality for at least 6-12mo.
Very few people will watch a video frame by frame to pick up on or check for artifacts, especially in the places most of the population watch video (tiktok, Facebook).
I have no doubt that, just like the fast corrections to 8 fingers, the final edge cases like reflections are being ironed out in future model training.
The building manager made me take it down...
