I'd say it will morph, and elements will remain in the republican party but not intact.
Trump is a huge magnetising force but without him, it doesn't really have anyone else. Sure people like Vance will try to further their own ambition but none of them will succeed in taking on the mantle and keeping it as the force is today.
From an outside perspective it might appear like Europe is a true single market like the US but it isn't. Scaling to a European level isn't impossible but it is difficult. Some of that will just be difficult to do anything about, language, different cultures, etc. On the political side I'm sure there is plenty more the EU can do but I don't see the will.
Whatever your own opinion, Google did it out of what they perceived to be good intentions (and very likely business sense given a global audience for their products). Yet their intentions directly lead to unintended consequences. Google is being a baby with a gun in essence. Like he says, what if they decide to ask it to solve climate change and it decides to wipe humans out?
Obviously it's still very theoretical and can't do anything like that, but the point is more that perhaps Google doesn't have the culture necessarily to truly interrogate their actions.
China wants ensure control over strategic elements anyway. I suspect that the west has started betting on China intending to primarily rely on domestic production. Possibly to preempt the future, avoid companies getting entangled further, and slow China down even if just marginally, the west has settled this policy. I say west but this is more a US thing, Europe was more reluctant to follow it.
The other aspect is, while Donegal is more remote to the rest of the Republic, Derry in Northern Ireland is a city right beside it and is generally considered part of the overall area. North west that is, it's not within Donegal itself.
I can't speak for the islands though.
"The revenue is still down 43% from a year ago, the IEA said, as Russia is forced to sell its barrels to a more limited pool of customers who can negotiate greater discounts."
At the very least it reduces the amount of funds Russia has at its disposal for the war.
The more we fall behind the more we'll cling to tradition and avoid further integration, a continuous cycle.
There is a perpetual license for substance painter on steam, which although updates are only for that years version, is still permanent. Not ideal I know (I'm stuck with a minor bug) but it's half the price of toolbox for an industry standard tool.
Democracy didn't prevent his rise, but democracy was barely existent.
Something like coffeescript is at least distinct but then you get a hundred things that will be called something like apple juice, based on some in-joke connected to a stack that will be called orchard.
1. I think the electronic component shortage will not be as bad but still not normalised. 2. Europe faces another severe heat wave in summer 3. Russian-Ukrainian war will have Russia attempt another breakthrough in earlish 23 but largely face another standstill, both start easing their language around requirements for peace. 4. Europe will continue rearmament, possible some nascent attempts at more unified supply buying 5. Twitter is going to slow it's pace of policy changes, Musk will eventually move aside but with tight reins, Twitter will more or less look much like it did prior to his take over. Maybe attempts at an everything app, but unlikely and expect failures in it anyway. 6. Meta will face disappointing sales of vr headsets at Christmas. Zuckerberg will be facing greater pressure to act on the losses, possibly spin off the VR. 7. The Microsoft Activision deal will face serious threat, will be a general horn for increased action by regulators across the board on mergers and acquisitions. 8. Increased competitiveness between OpenAI, Google, Facebook and Microsoft towards creating a viable AI product, good for us, it should keep prices reasonable.
I could buy not doing something for a year or two but at this point I'm more inclined to believe that it's deliberate. A nice way to stoke up a bit vote galvanising, "oh look at what the woke lefty is doing now, look over there and ignore the economy".
You can still see that crowds are not being spaced out from normal angles of the match, they would still know that restrictions aren't in place for those abroad.
Let's go further back to any of the old Disney films, came from fables, moral tales of old. In fact what piece of media outside of the most boring and bland ever are not a tale to learn, think or expand your thoughts? Is that not a sermon?
