In what way are human-made memorials "utopian"? Maybe I am too strict with language

This seems disingenuous. I can ask a generative AI "explain this ternary operator to me" or "walk me through why this causes a race condition"

I cannot ask the video game why my real guitar is out of tune, or diagnose why I'm holding the fret wrong.

The author seems to be screaming into the void here. The task of rebuilding infrastructure is mountainous compared to attempting new technological solutions.

I do agree with his rant about clean and semantic HTML being nessecary for accessibility. It's too often overlooked (as I scramble to check my sites for alt-text on images)

I also did not understand the "fear of breaking something" bullet point. Why would that stop you from reviewing AI code?

I enjoyed this post, echelon. It's trendy to be negative on social media such as HN and I greatly appreciate your optimism. Some of the items you mentioned are already happening to various degrees of success.

That no one seems to care about the underlying cryptography (except the nerds still communicating via op_return). I hope it falls out of fashion completely and returns to its cipherpunk roots.
