Dryken··on IBM is not doing "cognitive computing" with Watson (2016)
Anyway none of the company that pretend doing AI are actually doing AI. AI nowadays is pure branding bullshit.
Dryken··on Ask HN: Is it possible to use Unity on the web in 2018?
if you used a "WebGL 1st" engine it would probably work. Unity is "compiling" it's project for WebGl so that's one big process that can easily break.
Dryken··on Vero – A privacy focused social network
Any informations on: - Where is the data saved - Who has ownership of the data - Possibility/Procedure to get your data "erased" and not just archived/anonymized - Api and other means of interconnection with vero
Dryken··on When you don't pay your web developer
hope you both get paid and don't get into trouble because of this.
Dryken··on Observable: Introduction to Notebooks
Any reason to choose observable instead of jupyter ? A feature comparison matrix would be nice.
Dryken··on Ask HN: What are the easiest ways to earn crypto without investments?

Dryken··on Amazon Neptune – Fast, reliable graph database built for the cloud
that was my point but my Rhetoric was not as good as yours :)
Dryken··on Ask HN: Build vs. buy? Or: How many logins are too much?
although active directory is installed on windows, many library allow to use it as a source of truth for authentication. But of course your apps need to be compatible with it (and if you don't want to install AD any other LDAP would work too if the apps are compatible).

Good luck with your search :)

Dryken··on Ask HN: Build vs. buy? Or: How many logins are too much?
Not a direct response but for the multiple login problem have you considered using some kind of ldap like active directory ?
Dryken··on [dead]
they are saying that their auth system is down
Dryken··on Amazon Neptune – Fast, reliable graph database built for the cloud

Dryken··on Due to CASL, Canadian Carriers Might Be Locking Out Your Users
It prevented me to verify my identity with my (non Canadian)bank for a good while :-(

Dryken··on A pithy starter kit with router and internationalization in Vue
Learning vue right now, thank you for the resource !
Dryken··on Ask HN: How would you create a better Electron alternative?
I know that some people at Mozilla had started an electron like platform using Moz own html/css/js engines. No idea where it is at right now.

But yeah it would be great to have a platform like electron but with greater optimization. Non the less electron is still great, it simply can become better.

Dryken··on Roguelytics – Real-Time On-Page Analytics Free for All Developers
Seriously ? Lying on Hacker News will only bring you troubles.

Your title say "free" while the pricing on the platform says not free !

Dryken··on A programmer wrote scripts to secretly automate a lot of his job
it's more like he automatized everything but his job :)
Dryken··on [dead]

Dryken··on How I stopped procrastinating, learned to code, and launched my first product

Dryken··on What would you do if you get a basic income of $2500 every month for 1 year
I would keep working full time and invest all of it
Dryken··on Show HN: Nuclino – A unified real-time workspace for teams
Really smooth user experience and fair pricing. Still I find one negative point that really makes it unusable for me : Content are only one level deep.

Unless I missed a feature allowing to nest content on multiple level ?

Dryken··on Printed Solar Panels for Less Than $10 a Square Metre
A French company has been doing solar panel printing for while now. What's so new with this one ?
Dryken··on Trying Soylent didn’t go well
I have been using Soylent for a month now and have no problem. Although I'm using the powder one you have to mix with water not the bottled one which contain caffeine and is made to replace your breakfast + coffee.

Anyway sorry you had such bad experience, living in then toilet is never great :/

Dryken··on By installing NAT, MIT stifles innovation
Wish I had access to such resources during my education ! Too bad they are breaking their own system.
Dryken··on My Uber driver robbed me, so I took Uber to court and won
no 90$ for an item that doesn't even 15$ to make is not a reasonable price !
Dryken··on 10 Algorithms Every Programmer Should Know – And When to Use Them
All already implemented by bazillions of libraries.

Sure you need to know when to use them but not how they works or how they are implemented as long as someone who specialize in this field already checked them.

And if one day you need to use/modify/adapt one of those or even another algo you can still learn it at that time.

EDIT: I'm starting to think I misunderstood you and that you basically said that you should just know of their existence and use ?
