You are correct. You are also in violation of HN guidelines pertaining to eschewing personal swipes.

The ground reality clearly demonstrates the asymmetry between a 'naked' operator and the one cocooned inside a corporation. The criminal law is identical for both in spirit, in practice; corporations often protect their executives by simply buying out the courtroom: bench, bar and gavel.

Good find. Reminds of Terzaghi's pore pressure relaxation dynamics dominated by diffusion.

Eridanus2··on Making chicken transparent using Dorito dust
Is it sort of how oil makes paper transparent? Impregnates air gaps to suppress index mismatch scattering? I'm just offering this casually, someone please correct me if I'm off.

Crazy sequence of words. I love it. ;)

Not one of them... But were you talking about explosive assemblies or reactor assemblies? Cuz fission "reactor assemblies" going subcritical has very little to do with expansion in the long term, but rather with consumption of excess reactivity and buildup of poisons.

Also, you interestingly reminded me that fusion is unlike fission, the latter being a chain or cascading reaction (the self-sustaining kind), while former isn't (or is it? :M.Stevens face:)

I'm more interested in amplifying the kaboom by positively charging the droplets... These are mini particle accelerator-finger thingies.

I argue that the Industrial revolution created 'unemployment' in beasts of yoke and burden at a larger scale than humans. So, there may be something instructive in that turn of events, even if it's not a highly representative analogue of the current ones. Of course, it's like saying what's a house cat to do when there's no more mice to hunt (assuming it remains fed). Maybe knowledge workers will become qualified pets if they prove cute enough.

My border collie will be pretty depressed though, once it's out of a job (maybe replaced by a drone sheep-herd).

Asimov rocks! You should look into "Profession" and "It's Such a Beautiful Day", if you haven't.
Eridanus2··on Biology might not be quantum, but its math is quantumlike
The keys could random walk to lock-ports in finite time iff the search space were 2D or 1D. In 3D space, it is gets very unlikely. Biology solves it by dimensionality reduction, find substrates, cling, slide and find love/compatible hole.

A bad day at work, for one. Women are human. You are relying on human judgement.

Then, I think a lot of cognitive production and post-production code review/proof validation/design approval will start to look like this.

Btw, we are f*cked. Like what worthwhile human endeavor is left if not the 'pursuit' of higher truths. Eat, shit, sleep shag, then the reaper's bag.
