Sorry, I don't think rational debate is possible here. Your beliefs are not based on science or rationality.
If you read mainstream publications, then you will gradually form an opinion, which is that there is a climate emergency, but not that humanity will be destroyed.
Climate doomerism has been a catasrophe, because it means many people have "given up", when things can actually be done. The doomer propaganda jumped off the deep end, and the mainstream media should have called them our on their absurd nonsense years ago.
I notice the BBC is starting to fight back:
Literally nobody is predicting any of those things, except propagandists and doomers. I would urge you to broaden your media intake to more mainstream sources, because it is not mentally healthy to be living a life under such falsehoods.
When they go public soon, they're going to lock all the user-generated content behind their mobile app, and remove access from the website and APIs. Thanks for the content, suckers!
YouTube are using AI to only show "postive" comments first, but the overall effect is a bizarre cultish "uncanny valley" approximation of how a real community react.
However I am open to change my mind. Could you provide a single example of a popular and useful project that has been done using the revolutionary technology of web3?
The US has a huge and robust left-leaning press. I would have expected extensive wall-to-wall reporting if "US foreign policy exists to make corporations rich". Yet I see none. In what way is this not a generic "america=bad" conspiracy theory?
A bigger storm will come when the API is removed. That is also inevitable when they go public. The API allows third-party apps, which takes away people downloading the official app.
For 10 years Reddit has been collecting high quality UGC. The next step is to lock all the content behind the official app. That is the obvious goal.
I consider Reddit to be a sociopath/psychopath corporation. The company is designed to make money from people screaming divisive hate at each other. The front page is magnitudes worse than Facebook/Twitter. Assume they will do the very worst thing imaginable, as they have been doing for 5 years now.

My favorite $2 purchase, it's a masterpiece. My "go to sleep" routine is to watch it on my phone in bed until my eyes get droopy.
"Which" looks to be the exception, but that is a paid-for service.
It's a sad state of affairs.
I agree: the WWW Internet is dead, that is your problem. No-one visits websites anymore, everyone has moved to the 10 biggest websites and all data is now siloed there.
If I want to search for something topical and relevant, I go to Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, HackerNews, Instagram, Google Maps, Discord etc.
The general Internet is dead: it's just legacy content and spam.
If you think it's bad for you, imagine what it is like for Google Search! Their entire business is indexing a medium which no longer has any relevancy. People complain that Google no longer delivers good results. But what can Google do? The "good content" is no longer available for them to index.
Want to become rich? Make a search engine which indexes the fresh relevant data from the big siloed websites, and ignores the general dead Internet.
