Gepsens··on `123456' password used in Danish CPR data breach
I see you're conflating utter mediocrity with systemic idiocy
Gepsens··on Redesigning source control at Anthropic
It was obvious this would happen. I am working on an agentic sdlc with git as the vcs and the idea that you have to pool agents together to avoid cloning ended up looking like an unwanted limitation.
Gepsens··on AI Can Make You Suck Faster Too
But if the AI has a blindspot then they will fail hard since they rely on the LLM for everything.

Gepsens··on Big Tech's Frantic Race to Quell the Growing Backlash to AI
That would benefit the general public with no hope of high margins. VCs don't care about that stuff.
Gepsens··on Ask HN: What is one simple thing LLMs are insanely bad at?
math
Gepsens··on AI;DR (AI; Didn't Read)
We could put comments in separate files with an annotation format. For example: ion.cpp.cmt And autoremove all comments from source files. Then use plug-ins to toggle comment files within the text editor.

Any western country

They didn't believe it because they needed not to. Simple.
Gepsens··on Slopware AI: Ship Garbage Even Faster
Cant make this up
Gepsens··on I want to wash my car. The car wash is 50 meters away. Should I walk or drive?
Congrats, you've shown that fast models are currently not reliable. Next.
Gepsens··on Show HN: I'm rewriting a web server written in Rust for speed and ease of use
Hey really cool. Am proficient in Rust if you need any help.
Gepsens··on Replacement.ai
Smaller cities, human size, humans closer to nature, robots bring stuff from factories by driving. Done
Gepsens··on Beliefs that are true for regular software but false when applied to AI
That tells you AAPL didn't have the staff necessary to make this happen.
Gepsens··on You didn't see it coming
Or rather, all the people who do it, like to pretend that everyone else does.
Gepsens··on You didn't see it coming
What this boils down to, is that we live in the civilisation of the image, where image is the most important thing. So now, for authenticity, you constantly have to look past and ignore the bs.
Gepsens··on I'm dialing back my LLM usage
Llms are not a magic wand you can wave at anything and get your work cut out for you. What's new ?
Gepsens··on FireDucks: Pandas but Faster
It'll be polars and datafusion for me thanks
Gepsens··on Building Databases over a Weekend
I remember 2 years ago someone proposed adding stream processing in datafusion and PRs followed. But IMO stream processing is an entirely different beast, some people could use the sql engine of df for it though. There are rust projects like Arroyo

I'd advise binding things like pr, po, cp, --rebase, --continue, to keyboard shortcuts though if you are in an IDE.
Gepsens··on Dasel: Select, put and delete data from JSON, TOML, YAML, XML and CSV
I think you need some kind of autocomplete here to make it worthwhile
Gepsens··on I rebuilt my algorithmic trading platform in Rust. I'm filled with regret
Why is the level so low in software engineering in general? Well, at least I know I'll never be out of a job.
