Here is the actual code: https://github.com/bahamas10/bash-md5
HeadlessChild··on MD5 Implemented in Bash
Dave from the YouTube channel You Suck At Programming implemented the MD5 algorithm in pure Bash.
HeadlessChild··on TIL: You can make HTTP requests without curl using Bash /dev/TCP
It is nice for a basic port knocking as well.

timeout 5s bash -c "echo >/dev/tcp/google.com/443" && echo "port open" || echo "port closed"
This uses the timeout command from coreutils though, so it is not a pure bash implementation.
HeadlessChild··on Understanding Traceroute
Try running traceroute against the bad.horse address for a chuckle.

EDIT: You probably to increase the maximum hop count for it to fully work.

HeadlessChild··on Screenshots from developers: 2002 vs. 2015 (2015)
An engineer at my work literally designed the processor architecture that lives in our products but he is more or less computer illiterate.

/dev/null as a service.

HeadlessChild··on Tell HN: GitHub is blocking search unless you are logged in
What? I think it is one of the strengths of GitHub compared to other platforms.
HeadlessChild··on Saying Goodbye to OpenSubtitles.org API
Reminds me of the excellent Swedish website undertexter.se which was a community based site for Swedish subtitles. The owner of the site was convicted for copyright infringement. It is a sad world we live in.
HeadlessChild··on Play Counter Strike 1.6, with full multiplayer, in the browser
Same for "duck jump" or "crouch jump" as well (which was technique used to move more silently).

As long as Azure isn't down.
HeadlessChild··on A simple, fast and user-friendly alternative to ‘find’
Well this is saving me a ton of time as I'm basically migrating UID ownership of files for NFS shares that dates back to the 90's. According to my rough benchmarks between find and fd, fd is ~3 times faster.
HeadlessChild··on Lofi.co – Relax and Focus
You can click the 'X' in the top right corner to skip the sign-up/login page.
HeadlessChild··on A simple, fast and user-friendly alternative to ‘find’
Would it make sense to create a utils package with all these new rust based utilities? Something like "rustutils" with a resemblance to "coreutils".
HeadlessChild··on A simple, fast and user-friendly alternative to ‘find’
It is written in Rust and not Ruby.
