InternalRun··on Facebook Dangerous Individuals and Organizations List (Reproduced Snapshot)
I believe you’re right especially since they’ve blown a source before by posting a original copy of leaked documents

InternalRun··on Oracle loses bid to upend HP’s $3B win
There are few things as satisfying than watching Oracle lose court cases.
InternalRun··on Google Lighthouse V8 – Improved CLS metrics
I’ve experienced the same as you, I’ve lost many hours to fixing different protocol time out errors. We’re running it in ECS now and it’s pretty stable, every now and then one pops up but is fixed by retrying the job.
InternalRun··on Zoom Partial Outages
They use multiple services including AWS, Oracle, Azure, and their own data center.

InternalRun··on Show HN: My open source poetry app

InternalRun··on Quebec boy, 12, pleads guilty to hacking government websites
I always hate the comments on these type of articles.

"the government should hire him before someone else gets him"

In reply

"you can be sure there is a line up already - this kid is a treasure"

InternalRun··on Google is broken in IE11 on Windows 8.1
If you disable the IE compatibility list it should work fine.
InternalRun··on Did these guys just reinvent the Web?
Betteridge's law of headlines comes to mind.
InternalRun··on Police Now Can Switch off iPhone Camera and Wi-Fi
I think they are talking about the patent that is 3 years old and allows them to turn functions off, no mention of the camera. Like the rest of the media they have immediately jumped to the worst case scenario.
InternalRun··on David Cameron cracks down on online pornography
I think that it is a online system where the box is ticked by default. This is his version of opt-in to porn.
InternalRun··on DecryptoCat
You need to stop spamming this.
InternalRun··on "Please do not be afraid. I am a medical robot" [video]
Amazing, disappointed it ended I was really into it. Something like this could be made into a whole movie.
InternalRun··on [dead]
I think this has something to do with this blog post: http://georgiaweidman.com/wordpress/guess-you-thought-i-was-...
InternalRun··on The Unfollowed
Yup I got this message:

"You have been blocked from following this account at the request of the user."

InternalRun··on FBI uses drones inside U.S. for spying, director says
I think it will take more than legislate alone but I think it would be a step in the right direction. I just really want some transparency. Recording where everyone is going and having a mass database of it and then PRISM collecting all information about who you call and your online activities is a very worrying idea and it is 70% implemented.
InternalRun··on FBI uses drones inside U.S. for spying, director says
It is inevitable that they will use drones to spy on us. It is cheap and easy, why send teams of people to track someone 24/7 when you can have a robot do it for you. Unless new laws are brought in this will become regular practice. We have all seen the drones DARPA are working on.
InternalRun··on [dead]
I have said it before and I will say it again, we don't need a post every time a site goes down.
InternalRun··on Microsoft Announces Direct Cash Payments For Vulnerabilities
I think this is great, nice to finally see microsoft following suit.
InternalRun··on How Yahoo Fought Against PRISM in Secret and Lost
That is the problem.
InternalRun··on Problem after update to PS3 firmware
I agree, but I doubt they will have to wait weeks for a fix. Sony will have a patch within a day or two.
InternalRun··on Problem after update to PS3 firmware
They are not bricked, the update is just buggy. They will release a fix and you will have to put it on a USB and upgrade from that. Bricked means it is completely unusable. It is a sensationalized title.
InternalRun··on How Yahoo Fought Against PRISM in Secret and Lost
It depends on the company, some would lose out on government contracts, I dare say a few anti-trust investigations would popup or some new laws that the company wouldn't like. They can make life very difficult for them.
InternalRun··on Analyzing Yahoo's PRISM non-denial
I think everything is to fresh for us to come up with a picture about what is going on. These companies require their users trust to run and they could face action by governments if they have been giving user data over to the US so they are not going to come out and say. “Hell yeah we did" but for all we know they are telling the truth. We need more information. Right now it is a clusterfuck of claims and denials. Someone is lying, place your bets on who...

InternalRun··on Emails are the new landing pages
It sounded like one big add for userfox. Not as bad as the other stuff that is HN is being suffocated with though.
InternalRun··on Emails are the new landing pages
HN is being drowned in content by medium and none of this content is any good.
