MavropaliasGon Using Claude Code: The unreasonable effectiveness of HTML

The author is completely missing the point of markdown.

"HTML can convey much richer information compared to markdown. It can of course do simple document structure like headers and formatting, but it can also represent all sorts of other information"

Yes exactly, and markdown is used when someone wants to just have raw text.

MavropaliasGon Text editing on mobile: the invisible problem

At the end of the article the author seems resigned and that it seems impossible to bring this to the end user. I don't understand why? Why can't this be a keyboard that I can switch to, like I'm able to switch from Samsung keyboard to Google keyboard? Or like an accessibility app?

MavropaliasGon LastPass: ‘Horse Gone Barn Bolted’ Is Strong Password

Can someone explain to me what is the advantage of using something like LastPass over simply the in-built password manager that Firefox or other browsers have? I know that LastPass can be used for desktop applications too, but if you are only using a password for the web, is LastPass offering anything more than the in-built browser password manager?

MavropaliasGon Why is LibreOffice still so bad?

Well no. I'm not a developer, but I do donate to open source projects I like and use. I have not donated to LO, and I do not intend to, as I am not satisfied either with it's current state, or with its trajectory. I don't see why discussing about a n open-source project and its progress is forbidden, and all we are allowed to do is either contribute or donate.
