I made these choices before I was employed by Cloudflare and personally like how transparently they operate as a company. They have earned my trust but I don't expect others to feel the same way.

I agree and its unfortunate that there i. For a long time I went without WhatsApp but realized that connecting to family was more important to me. I don't have a good alternative for this one.

Think in a data centric way. What data do you need? What operations need to be performed? Then design your ownership hierarchy such that that can happen.

Ahh thanks for the articles! I was wondering how you chose the order in which to introduce the topics and which you found the most difficult to explain. Also in your opinion do you think it would have been valid to start with ownership since that is the key differentiation in the language?

I agree with this point. I do believe Rust contains some difficult concepts but there is a reason behind them. Understanding those reason is the key motivator behind learning the language.

Yes there were policies that augmented the recovery but the article hits upon a key point: you need the people of a government to trust the government for it to succeed.

The entire economic system is based upon trust. Trust that you can pay back a debt, you can take out a loan, you will get paid and the money will hold its value, the government will honor and stand behind it currency. This trust is lost when a government defaults on its debt, which was the case in Brazil and much of South America.

The real created an illusion of trust by listing prices in a phantom currency.

I don't think it's necessary bad to choose a life that's ordinary. In fact he says that if you do then simply convince yourself that you had to. It's your life and you can always readjust your goals to match your circumstances.
