Live2D is the company that makes the editor and runtime for many game and vtuber(virtual YouTuber) applications. They have a monopoly on the market and I want to change that. Their application is slow, buggy, and a monthly paid subscription to keep using it along with perpetual licensing costs to use the runtime.
Umamo is in the early alpha stage right now, but I'm planning for a Christmas release of an end user workable experience.
I'm preparing the v0.3.0 release today. It's a big release that adds the full pipeline for ingesting layered artwork, texture atlas packing and editing, and more.
The Eva interface is pretty cool, but it is not worth what I paid for it. I would recommend people look for other options or maybe wait for something better to come out.
The tablet itself: Other than the screen and APU being good, it is a heavily stripped down tablet missing a lot of the features that other tablets in its price range or even cheap tablets will have. No haptics, biometrics, and so on. It is very focused on the screen interaction experience and that is basically it.
And because of pinning versions to LTS releases on certain Linux distributions many times those packages stay out of date for years. Which is quite annoying.
* Replacement controller for my UFO Catcher - It has WiFi, easy to update, and I can operate the machine remotely with it. It's bolted to the back of small touchscreen that lets me change the machine settings as well.
* Remote printer access - I can monitor from the USB cameras and gather statistics about the prints.(I suspect a lot of 3D printing enthusiasts use them for this purpose.)
Having a small low power computer has been useful for me in those instances.
Why?! ;_;
I see it as buying printers design for industrial usage versus printers for hobby. Prusa is selling me a tool that just works every time.
Issues and PRs are available to open.(I just have not gotten any yet.)
> Any idea why your script does not seem to flag as a valid greasemonkey script when I try to use it in the Falkon (KDE) browser?
Honestly, no idea. I have only tested it with Tampermonkey on Firefox. Manually installing it should still work.
I used that research to build something similar. It only works for manga and comics right now, but I have been tinkering with implementing glyph support as well to be able to handle full books.

The original research is here, but the web site is down right now. https://blog.pixelmelt.dev/kindle-web-drm/
ChatGPT with the same prompt tried to do whatever it would take to please me to make my incorrect process work.
The Slack and (Google) Photos icons on Android look so visually similar in the sea of green, blue, red, and yellow icons on Android that I frequently open the wrong application. Using my phone sucks.
So it really depends where you live.
The NFC readers on the gates in Japan will read cards from several centimeters away. My phone, which has Osaifu-Keitai setup, can be left in my bag and I just wave my bag over the reader as I walk by. It is incredibly rare for a misread to occur. They just work.

I do a lot of copy editing for clarity and non-native speakers so I have keep these things in mind. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just read the entire article being a bit confused and it wasn't until I read here that I realized that the name of the replacement application is "Windows App".
Why?!
