banubis··on Way to Play Super Mario 64: On Apple Vision Pro
Would highly recommend it! The developers spent a ton of time on the movement, making Mario feel snappy and incredibly satisfying to navigate the worlds and maps. The levels might feel a little easy at first, but it gets increasingly complicated and more difficult as the game progresses (I still as an adult have a hard time with Tick Tock Clock).

Given the focus on mechanics, the game holds up super well. I'm genuinely impressed they were able to build such a good first ever 3d platformer!

banubis··on Pentagon says overreliance on AI contributed to missile strike on Iran school
The pentagon says it was Palantir software’s fault, Palantir says it was the fault of bad data input to their software. Where’s the accountability by both organizations? How did we get to a world where military decisions leading to innocent deaths are responded to as if it was just another miscommunication implementing a B2B SaaS platform.
banubis··on How we use dopamine to get you to spend less time on your phone
Very interesting! I recently downloaded an idle game, and am shocked at how it does scratch the same itch scrolling on social media does. There are moments though when it does become addicting in that I'm craving another look at it, even when I should be focusing on other things. Also the rampant microtransactions to speed things up leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Curious how your game handles giving some of the dopamine to feel satisfied, but not overdoing it leading to just a new app to be addicted to. And hope there's no problematic pay-to-win mechanisms :) Would love to try it!
