bartligtharton PayloadCMS: Open-Source, Fullstack Next.js Framework

Oh this looks pretty good! Will investigate!

bartligtharton PayloadCMS: Open-Source, Fullstack Next.js Framework

It's not really an option because we need to be able to style it.

bartligtharton PayloadCMS: Open-Source, Fullstack Next.js Framework

It looks like a top choice for me. But a big part of why I'm probably still going to use WordPress is because of the Gravity Forms plugin.

A place where it's easy to drag and drop forms, do conditional stuff, edit thank you messages, connect inputs to other stuff like spreadsheets, zapier etc.

If any CMS / plugin could fix that for Payload. Please let me know!

bartligtharton Poll: Switching from WhatsApp

Isn't this the perfect moment for Apple to announce their Android iMessage app?

bartligtharton Ask HN: What are you surprised isn’t being worked on more?

In the Netherlands we have something like 'Verenigingsleven', loosely translated to club life.

At the end of 19th century workers got better working hours. In the hours after work they set up clubs for everything you can think of. Sports, rabbit breeding clubs, pigeon clubs, shooting clubs etc.

Tot this day it's still a thing, and it's in the canon of the Netherlands.

bartligtharton OpenDyslexic: A Typeface for Dyslexia

I'm dyslexic and on my kindle I use the OpenDyslexic font. Which works really well for me!

The bottom half of the letters are a bit fatter which makes it easier in my head to read. I have no idea what's the science behind this. It's makes it easier for me to read a bit longer without getting sick of reading.

Not sure if it's faster than other fonts but it reads more relaxed.

However on this www page you don't see the font go to: https://opendyslexic.org/

bartligtharton Ask HN: What did you make during lockdown?

Created an app that does a Google Lighthouse test of your website every night. And you get an email overview every week.

It's free for now.

bartligtharton Ask HN: What's your quarantine side project?

Created a Lighthouse tracking tool. Takes a Google Lighthouse test every night. Give you a report every Monday morning.

It's free to use till I figure out if people really want this tool.
