Side bar having been around the dexcom for 10 years now . The old/original audible alarms were easy to understand. Low crescendo for going low , low repeats for low alarm and the reverse for high events. With the x2 and g6 i literally have no idea what the beeps mean anymore. This alarm fatigue is bad and i wonder if this contributes to the authors issue too. Was there some warning she missed?
In any case in the 6 years os smartos we never had any dataloss from failed disks, sure fifo and smartos had their warts but lx-zones works amazing well and i think we got Garrett D'Amore to go back to BSD land for some time . In the end we had to jump to VMWARE when Heinz gave up on fifo.

So i can see the correlation for T1D and undiagnosed T2D cases Alzheimers. Now having a parent with both T2D and Alzheimers when they were taking rebelsis there was a change in their overall mood and activity , but i saw the change was "hey your sugar is under control, and no i am not your buddy from the army" . To be clear the difference is the fog of being unclear about what's going on like you're drunk , vs the grand delusions of seeing a different person that's not there .
This should have been obvious for the researchers.
