botondev··on My Answer to the AI Wave: Focus on Reality, Not Fear
Interesting point of view. Unfortunately, I doubt that companies will survive in this race to speed up processes with AI. Once people figure out how to use it efficiently, companies without AI will struggle to compete.

As David Heinemeier Hansson, the creator of Ruby on Rails, said: "It's pencils down, people. Writing code by hand is no longer an economically viable skill for most programmers at most companies."

I tend to agree with him. Do you think we have a chance to go back to writing code the way we did a year ago?

Here I was researching (based on my daily experience as a software engineer), and I found an old term that is more accurate than ever: the "Sociotechnical Architect."

I am still learning more about the role, but I feel more like a "Sociotechnical Engineer" nowadays. I wonder what is your opinion on the topic if you have any related experience.

botondev··on Our minds aren't equipped to handle AI
Probably the content is good, but I am not subscribed to be able to read it :)

AI is everywhere these days, and as a software engineer, I can see that Sandra Matz's opinion holds up really well. I have my own thoughts on this article, not technical at all. How it compares to the old "Just Google it!" experience with real-life events I saw.
